Our Facility

Encore Wire’s ENCORE TECHLAB® was designed to meet LEED® Platinum building standards as a demonstration of Encore’s commitment to environmental consciousness.

The LEED® (Leadership In Energy and Environmental Design) program is a standardized classification system for ranking the environmental performance of a building. Points are awarded in six categories for satisfying certain specific green building criteria and showing improvements when compared to the ASHRAE 90.1 Standards—the total number of points determines the compliance level of the building as silver, gold or platinum. The six categories are Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovation in Design.
